Training Options
We offer a number of levels of training opportunities depending on your experience and needs:
Introduction to Neurofeedback
Held quarterly in The Lake District and run by experienced Neurofeedback practitioner David Vincent, this highly practical course offers a basic hands-on introduction to Neurofeedback along with free neurofeedback equipment that is yours to keep at the end of the weekend.
You will learn what neurofeedback is and how it works. You will take away practical, hands-on skills including:
- How to set up & run a neurofeedback training session from start to finish
- How to assess symptoms and decide on appropriate training protocols
- How to set up and use a number of 'standard' protocols
- How to use the international 10/20 system for finding electrode sites
- How to place leads on the head to get a good EEG signal
- How to recognise artefact in the EEG and what to do about it
- How to make sense of the data

NeXus Workshop
As experienced trainers in neurophysiological monitoring equipment, we use NeXus products on a daily basis.
Our NeXus workshops are an excellent way to learn about the equipment and software and their application in biofeedback and neurofeedback.
You'll get to use the NeXus-4, NeXus-10 and Nexus-32 models and get hands-on experience with the hardware, the sensors and the Biotrace+ software.
We provide a range of training from beginners workshops for biofeedback novices through to advanced workshops for clinicians and professionals who want to extend their knowledge.
The workshops, which can be held at your offices or at our training facility, are normally focussed on a single topic; ADHD, HRV, QEEG, Stress Management to name but a few.

One-on-One Practitioners Tutorial
A one day tutorial, run at our training facility or your offices, this training option is an ideal opportunity, if you are a novice practitioner, to spend a day with an experienced therapist and ask all of those questions that cannot normally be covered in a public training course.
This is the ideal solution if you want to improve your skills in biofeedback, neurofeedback or other related therapies.
